Studies show that the emotional release from singing can enhance communication and social skills. Singing is great for the soul whether your singing alone or in a group.

I assess each student’s voice and design exercises for their specific goals, voice type, and genre. No two voices are the same so it's important that the teacher can recognise this.

I help beginners get started, Intermediates progress and develop more confidence. We can help you prepare your voice for the stage or studio.

Take lessons from any where in the world! I provide lessons globally. All you need is internet connection or a smart phone.

Would you like to feel more confident about your voice?

Singing lessons can help you to explore and develop your own voice and help you sing in a relaxed and joyful way without harming your voice. My job is to guide you in the discovery of your full potential as a singer.

Will you be able to sing like your idols?

We don’t all sound like Adele or Beyoncé but we each have our own unique voice. Making the most of what we have and working hard to better our voice through proper vocal technique is what the singing coaching process is about. Learning to love our own voice is vital and confidence is 90% of the battle to making you a better singer and performer. If you dream of singing like any great singer then getting some lessons is the starting point in your vocal journey. And who knows where it will lead!

What makes you a great singer?

Singing well is about communication and how you convey emotion. Singing should feel natural and be comfortable but this takes practice and correct vocal technique. There are so many aspects to singing such as tone, pitch, range, vibrato, dynamics, style and the list goes on. Great singers. Work hard at all aspects of singing while maintaining good health and seeking vocal coaching to assist them along the way.

Charlotte is a vocal coach specialising in teaching children and adult beginners and her goal is to make the learning process relaxed, exciting and tailored to the individual. Charlotte enjoys helping her students to build self-confidence through a love of music and singing. “I love to inspire people to sing and make music and it brings so much joy to hear my students singing so beautifully”.

Performing as a professional singer for almost 18 years, Charlotte has sung in various Jazz and Blues bands in Sydney, London and Abu Dhabi where she completed an Artist Residency at Le Royal Meridien Hotel in 2009.

Charlotte is also a songwriter and has recorded her original material and an album of Jazz standards and teaches students about the necessary skills required in the Music Industry in the digital age such as Social Media networking, making videos, songwriting, iTunes etc.

Having a holistic approach to singing, Charlotte focuses on the following aspects of singing while helping to make singing feel as relaxed and comfortable as possible.

I assess each student’s voice and design exercises for their specific goals, voice type, and genre. Lessons are custom designed for your needs.

Healthy belting: Many singers find maintaining a healthy technique while “belting” difficult. I help clients feel the difference between harmful and healthy belting. Our goal is to give you a healthy technique so that your instrument will last a lifetime. Helping students release tension makes singing much easier and much more fun.

“Mixed” voice: Going from your lowest note to your highest note seamlessly can be a big challenge for singers. I help singers blend registers to the point where the audience won’t hear your transition. This removes “breaks”, cracks, flips, and straining.

Range expansion: When a singer can’t get past their “breaks” they assume all higher notes are out of their range. By balancing their registers, our instructors drastically improve a singer’s range. Most students gain an octave or more.

Vocal Style: What makes you unique as a singer? I help singers identify their strengths to create a unique style that feels authentic to them. I want you to love the feeling you get when you sing and love your own personal style.

Introductory lessons include a discussion with your instructor about your personal goals, an assessment of your voice type, exercises to help you with your goals, song application, or anything else you’d like to go over.

The purpose is to hear from you where you are now and how far you want to go with your singing. Your instructor will then be able to create custom-made lesson plans to benefit your goals.

Introductory lessons are $60 for the hour. For those under the age of 12, half-hour introductory lessons are $32. Come see if our services are right for you with no further commitment required. If you would like to continue regular lessons are billed by the term over a 10 week period. Please see our
